12 week US update

Havent posted in a while! (Sorry LORI) Been busy with work and holidays all that fun stuff. Had my 1st try screening. All looked good. She said the neck fold was measuring 0.15 and anything under 3.0 was good. Just waiting on the bloodwork to come back in for the official results. Baby was sleeping the whole time. The US tech kept having to giggle my tummy to wake him or her up. Here's a picture of the baby =)

U/S #3

Heatrate was 175. Everything is looking good. I was released to my OB. Yay!! My 1st appt with her is this friday. Dont think the appt will be too exciting! But I will still post an update...

It was a lot better than the first one. We saw our lil babies heart beat! 144 bpm! I can belive it. I am in complete shock! We were even able to hear it! I wasn't expecting that. I have one more appt with the RE next friday. Then they will release me to my regular OB. I can't believe this is happening....

U/S update

Well, We had our ultrasound yesterday. I was 6 weeks and 0 days. We saw one sac. But no heartbeat yet. RE said it may be just a little too early. So I am scheduled to go back next Tuesday. I am praying paying that we see that little flicker. Im a little bummed about the whole appt yesterday. First the RE had us waiting in the room for 45 minutes. Then when she came in she seemed rushed. She didn't even get a good shot of the sac. Here is the pic. I can hardly see it. Here's hoping to a better appt next week!

6726! Yaahhhhhooooo! Ultrasound #1 is Monday! I can't wait!

866! Yay! Im so happy. My progesterone was 28.8 and estrogen was 335. My RE said everything is looking good.

A Little bit about me...

Lori wanted to know a little background on me. So here it goes.

Im 28. I met my DH when I was 14. We got married in 2003. Ever since we got married we have been TTC. I knew I would always have problems because I never ever ever got AF on my own. Turns out I have PCOS. So we started seeing a RE. And I love her. We have done 3 IUI's. One ended in a chemical pregnancy. And the others were cancelled because I wasn't responding to the meds and I was bleeding mid cycle. So we took a break for a while. In March of 08' we decieded to do IFV. They only retrieved ONE egg. It did fertilize and we transfered the one. But that resulted in a BFN. In Novemeber of 08' we went for IVF #2. I had changed my diet a bit and started working out. That must have helped because we were able to retireve 14 eggs! Of the 14, 9 fertilized. We froze 7 and transfered 2. We got a BFP that cycle but it ended in m/c at 6 weeks and 5 days. Financially we werent able to jump right back in. Plus I needed a little TTC break! That brings us to our current date. Of the 7 frozen embies only 2 survied the thaw. And those are the 2 we transfered. I got my BFP on tuesday with a strong beta of 266. I went in today for beta #2 and I hope the numbers go up as they are suppose to. We have an ultrasound scheduled for 10-26. We hope we make it that far and hope to see the little heartbeat.

Some other things about me....
I love sports and I think my DH really digs that. We ar big Lakers and Angels fans. I have 2 totally awesome nephews. I am super close with my family. I work at a law firm. Ive been here for almost 10 years. If I leave, Im not sure what they will do haha! We have 2 cats. I really want a puppy. But that's gonna have to wait.

I think that's about it! Ill update with the 2nd beta when I get the call!

Are my eyes playing tricks on me??

Clearly it's too early for a positive on a HPT. My transfer was only this past Thursday. But I couldn't contain myself. I had a new box with 3 tests and one was screaming at me. So I did it. And I THINK I saw a line. Very faint, but Im pretty sure it was there. I didn't tell DH because we said we would do one Saturday. But I simply couldn't resist. So, Im hoping what I saw was real! I'll test again with DH on Saturday. Hopefully it will be darker!! It just feels like my days are dragging along. Until then...

Transfer update

Well, we had the transfer on Thursday. Good news and bad news I guess. Bad news first. Out of the 7 frozen embies only 2 survived. But the good news is that those 2 looked good! Here they are. RE said that one was compacting. Im not really sure what that means. But Im taking it as a good thing. So, Im hoping and praying this is it because we have no more frozen embies and I don't know when or how we will get the money for another IVF. I am leaving it all up to God and I hope we get our baby. Beta is Oct 13th. So one more week to go. Im thinking of maybe P'ing OAS this weekend. I like to be prepared haha!

Transfer tomorrow!

Im so so so so nervous. Just nervous of the outcome. Im scared to have another BFN. Im scared to get my BFP only to have it taken away from me. Im praying that some of the frozen embies survive the thaw. Im trying not to let all of this bother me, but I cant help it. I just want a BFP and a healthy baby in June =) So please, cross your finger for me. All three of you that are out there that read my blog haha!! I wont be able to post after my transfer tomorrow. My internet is acting up at home. But Monday I will post my transfer update and Im sure they will give us a pic of our embies they transfer, so I will be sure to post that too.

Ugh!

I am not looking forward to my Hep.arin shots! I heard the hurt and bruise. But I am trying to stay positive and think of what the end goal is. Less than a week till transfer. Oh, and I start PIO tomorrow too! Lovely!!!! The joys of infertility!

Anyone there??

Just wondering if anyone follows my blog? I don't post much, so I can understand why I don't have too many blog friends. But Im trying to get back into it...

Anywho...

Had my U/S. Everything is going GREAT RE said that my lining is tripple layer @ 7.5 mm and she was very pleased. During our last IVF at the same time it was 6.6mm, so we are looking better. So I am scheduled for transfer next Thur @ 10a.m.! It's here already, I can't believe it. Im excited, nervous, anxious all at the same time. She also gave me the rest of my meds. Looks like Im going to be a pin cushin for a while. PIO in the night and Heparin 2 times a day. Not looking forward to that but, it's worth it if I get me lil baby!!

I'll post next week after the transfer to update you all....If your out there haha!

Starting Meds!

Went in for my baseline US today! Everything looks good and we got the OK to start meds tomorrow! RE said she's going to add Heprin to my meds because Ive had 3 Miscarriages. She said maybe that will help. Im all for trying something new! Ive started acupuncture too. This Friday will be my 4th session. Hopfully this will help us! We have 7 frozen embies. She said she will thaw a few and transfer 2 or 3 depending on the quality. But NO more than 3. She doesn't want to put me at risk. Im starting to get excited. But at the same time Im nervous!!

My next apt is Sept 22nd. Until then....

Back in the game!

The time has finally come. Although it took us almost one full year, we are ready to go in for our F.E.T. I start L.u.p.r.o.n & BCP on Wednesday. F.E.T is scheduled for 10-1-09. Im seriously hoping this is it! I am also doing acupunture. So hopefully that will help our chances. Im excited and nervous at the same time. I think even if it does work, Im going to be scared throughout the whole thing. I just want to see that little flicker. I have never gotten to the poing yet. Im leaving it in God's hands. Im hoping he will bless us with that little miracle we have been praying for!

Fertility Statues

We went to Hollywood this weekend to check out the Fertility Statues at R.i.p.l.ey's Belive i.t or n.o.t. It was pretty cool. Now, do I expect to get pregnant? NO, but we can hope. It was fun. Here is a picture of me and DH with the statues.

It's been a while...

Geez, I haven't posted since November! Doesn't feel like its been that long. Last post I was so excited. We were pregnant! The numbers looked good. We saw a sac at 5 weeks 5 days. But then, it happened. Spotting! Are you kidding me? At 6weeks 3 days we go in for an ultrasound. Nothing. No sac, empty uterus! I was devistated! What happened? Everything was going great. My last beta was in the 3,000's. So we have been on a break. Unfortunately we just don't have the money to do a FET. Ive been in lurker mode for months. Im not sure how many of you ever read this but I felt it was time to get back to the blog world. So here I am still not a mom and still bitter. And as Mother's Day approaches it gets worse LOL! Im going to Hollywood tomorrow to rub those Fertility Statues. Hopefully it will bring me some luck!
